GROUP OPERATIONS MANAGER

I’m participating in this challenge because mental health is something that has touched my life in many ways. I’ve faced my own mental health challenges, seen the impact it has on my own family and friends, and experienced the loss of a colleague and dear friend Chloe to suicide. This trek is in her memory, to honour her life, and support mental health and suicide prevention. I hope to be part of creating more open conversations, stronger support systems, and real change for those who need it most in Chloe’s honour.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Hope is my “why” for taking on the Base Camp challenge.

The Barbarians, and the organisations they support, bring hope to people who desperately need it, and that inspires me.

I’ve chosen to hike with this group to make a small but meaningful contribution - one that will help raise awareness and much needed funds so the organisations can continue their important work. If this trek helps even one person feel supported or seen, then every step will be worth it.

PROJECT SUPPORT

I feel extremely fortunate and excited to be embarking on the trek to Annapurna Base Camp with my teammates from Barbarians Group and Happiness Co. I expect the journey to be both physically and mentally demanding - a true test of endurance and perspective, offering space for reflection and purpose. By taking on this challenge, I hope to shine a light on the importance of mental health, encourage openness and compassion, and support the vital work these charities do in making a real difference to people’s lives.

I am taking on the trek to Annapurna Base Camp to turn movement and challenge into something meaningful. I’m grateful to have a healthy body and the support of those around me, and I want to use this journey to help amazing organisations like Barbarians Group and Happiness Co raise funds for mental health. These charities provide care, understanding, and safe spaces for people when life feels heavy. This trek is my way of giving back, supporting the incredible work these communities and organisations do, and helping others feel less alone along the way.
