Background
Collab spearheaded the development of the Hilton Garden Inn Busselton, overseeing the entire construction and delivery of this modern hospitality landmark along Busselton’s iconic foreshore precinct. The five‑storey hotel features 110 guest rooms, including ocean‑view rooms with private balconies nestled footsteps from the Busselton Jetty and Geographe Bay. Built to Hilton Garden Inn’s high standards, the design includes a cocktail bar, full-service restaurant, function and meeting spaces, fitness centre, outdoor pool, and ample onsite parking, all geared toward both leisure and business travellers alike
Our involvement began with a comprehensive due diligence process to select the right operator. Collab attracted strong interest from several international hotel brands before securing Hilton as the preferred partner and operator, ensuring the project would combine global standards with local appeal.
Positioned within Busselton’s 38‑hectare master‑planned foreshore precinct-a growing cultural and tourism hub, Collab’s development sought to align with municipal vision while contributing to the region’s economic growth. The hotel complemented key infrastructure investments in the area, including airport upgrades and cultural facilities, helping establish Busselton as a premier travel destination in WA’s South West
