Background

Collab is proud to play a central role in rebuilding Mendi town, transforming lives through essential infrastructure focused on education and healthcare. This initiative supports the restoration of community services following significant earthquake damage and prolonged underinvestment. Our projects include reconstructing the Mendi School of Nursing and delivering on-site accommodation for nursing staff, alongside upgrading primary and vocational school facilities.

At the nursing college, Collab is helping deliver a complete rebuilding of classrooms, dormitories, and staff housing. The redevelopment, backed by regional funding initiatives totalling over K20 million, ensures the institution can continue training healthcare professionals in safety and dignity. Concurrently, Collab is responsible for constructing comfortable two‑bedroom homes for hospital nurses, directly addressing staff retention issues while enhancing service delivery to the community
